We suggest that a coin be struck, on one side to be represented a picture emblematical of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio, in Union.

As our country can boast no higher personages, none more exalted than a citizen, instead of having on the obverse of the medal the three Governors whose affectionate leave-taking in the parlor of Mr. Longworth, was an incident of interest, instead of evidences of pomp and display so magnificent at the Opera-house, we would suggest a picture of the Jerseyman and his wife, the representative of the plain people of Ohio, receiving the Executives, Senators, and Legislators of sovereign States--an eloquent type of tiller of the soil, and of the hospitable American citizen. wt no
