Full Text
A warning to axis aliens that only five days remain to obtain identification certificates was issued this week by Postmaster Frank X. Vagnais. Saturday is the last day for registration.
The registration office at the Putnam Post Office is open daily. In addition to filling out the forms supplied for registration, each applicant is required to bring three unmounted photographs, two inches square, showing a front view of the features of the applicant, taken without a hat within the past 30 days. Each applicant also must present the receipt card obtained in the first registration of aliens in 1940.
Persons failing to meet the requirement to register run the risk of incurring the penalty of being interned in concentration camps for the duration of the war.
