General Beadle, in his efforts to procure a census of the southern half of Dakota through the school district plan, finds that the rapid settlement of the country is liable to keep him busy. Since he sent out his first installment of blanks to eleven hundred districts, some two weeks ago, he has been notified of the formation of about two hundred additional districts. These have been supplied and the general has hopes that by working early and late he will be able to keep up with the educational advancement of Dakota.-Press and Dakotian.
