Full Text
IN the Aurora of this morning it is asserted, that a member of the Board of Overseers of the Poor, on Monday last, gave, as a toast, "The King of Great Britain, the only friend to order and good government"—this is false. The toast was, "The King of Great Britain, this only supporter of order and good government in Europe" for the correctness of which, an appeal is made to every gentleman then present. The insignificant wretch who could abuse the hospitality of the overseers, by giving to the editors such a misstatement, is beneath their notice, and will receive that contempt which he deserves.
One of the Overseers.

Main Argument
