POLICE PICKUPS

The police station Friday night sheltered 194 homeless men, while the officers made 17 arrests.

Steve Hickson was arrested by Sergeant Coats, charged with breaking a glass in the front of engine house No. 2.

Harry White and Fred Thomas were arrested by Patrolmen Schuetz and Crome, charged with disturbing the peace.

Thomas Erwin was arrested by Patrolman Schuetz, charged with disturbing the peace of Julius Steger.

Joseph Porter was arrested by Patrolmen Schuetz and O'Connell, charged with disturbing the peace.

Miss Anna Hudson was arrested in St. Louis Friday night on information that she knew something about some persons implicated in recent East St. Louis hold-ups.
