THREE BOUTS ON WRESTLING CARD TONIGHT
Hackney - Murdock In Head Spot; Lee Meyers And Walter Miller On Card.
Wrestling fans of McAllen will again witness a three bout program at George Chapapas Broadway Sports Arena tonight, the featured bout again showing Stanley Hackney, the favorite of the season, against Paul Murdock, the Waxahachie youngster, who made such a hit last Wednesday night in the semi-final.
The two men seem to be the cream of the wrestlers who have appeared here this season, both are fast and skillful, and a real treat seems promised in this bout.
Lee Meyers, who socked the referee, his opponent, and almost forced his removal from the ring by police at the end of his bout last week, is on the semi-final, being matched with Bobby Chapell.
Another lad man of the ring appearing here last week, namely, Walter Miller of Los Angeles, is down on the program, and for the curtain raiser, his opponent being Fred Laster.
George Poulos, the socking referee, will again be the third man in the ring.
