District Meetings Draw
Large Representation

Most of the quarterly district meetings held during the middle part of September were very well attended by delegates of member associations, and in all cases definite progress was made toward the better co-ordination of the various cooperative activities and organizations within each district.

The permanent status of the district organizations was recognized by the adoption of methods whereby district expenses are to be borne. In Districts 1 and 2 it was recommended to the member associations that each one set aside ten dollars per year for the purpose. In District 6 a sliding scale was recommended, as follows: the local co-op will pay 50 cents per car for the first ten cars bought during the year; 25 cents per car for the next fifteen; 15 cents per car for the next 25, and 10 cents per car for all additional cars. In District 9 50 cents will be paid per car on all cars purchased.
