CYCLISTS KILLED IN GERMANY BY BURSTING OF A TIRE

PACEMAKER ALSO FATALLY INJURED ON TRACK AT COLOGNE.

Cologne, Germany, Sept. 8.—Gus Lawson, an American cyclist, and Scheutermann, a German rider, were killed, and Meinhold, the German's pacemaker, fatally injured in a motor bicycle race. A bursting tire caused the accident. Lawson came here from Los Angeles and was considered in cycling circles the best pacemaker in the world. His brother, Iver, is a noted cyclist of Salt Lake.
