The new depot is rendered useless for the purpose it is intended for and passengers have to be carried a roundabout way to reach the Pennsylvania side of the city to proceed southwest. At Taylor's slaughter house 17 steers and 100 hogs were washed away and several of them were drowned. Several bridges from up country have been seen floating down the Assanpink Creek. It is reported that the ice gave way this morning below Bristol which will relieve the swollen stream in this vicinity very much.
The late snow storm, extended from the Atlantic Ocean to the Rocky Mountains, and from Nova Scotia to Georgia.
