TRANSMITTED FOR THE DAILY DISPATCH

Important from Havana—The Difficulty Settled.

Charleston, Dec. 3

By an arrival at this port we have later advices from Cuba. The Captain General has expressed his perfect satisfaction with the affidavit of Purser Smith, and has given directions that the Crescent City, with the (heretofore) "obnoxious individual," Smith, on board, may now enter the harbor of Havana, with all the privileges enjoyed before the difficulty.

The U. S. frigate Cyane, and steamer Fulton, arrived at Havana on the 29th.

Execution of Blaise Skupinski.

Philadelphia, Dec. 3.

Blaise Skupinski was executed to-day for the murder of young Lehman.

Baltimore, Dec. 3.—Flour firm; sales effected at $5. Wheat advancing. Corn unchanged.

New York, Dec. 3—Cotton unchanged sales of 800 bales. Flour—State brands $5 06 to 5 12; Genesee, $5 25 to 5 37; Southern, $5 43 to 5 56; sales of 1800 bbls. Sales of 25,000 bushels Wheat, at $1 20 for Western white—market quiet. Yellow Corn, 71 to 73 cts; mixed 78 cts—25,000 bushels sold.
