Rock Hill, Mar. 22.—One hundred and seventy-nine members of the senior class at Winthrop are slated to receive diplomas at the commencement of 1924 unless the unexpected happens, according to official figures obtained from the president's office.
Dr. Ashby Jones, Baptist divine of note, has accepted the invitation to deliver the baccalaureate sermon, although no one has yet been secured to preach the Y. W. C. A. sermon.
Governor Thomas G. McLeod will deliver the commencement address
Further details relating to the commencement season will be announced shortly it is expected.
