Central Baptist Church

Before a capacity audience on last Sunday Mr. Edgar Primus relinquished the title of "Mr. Central" to Mr. Eugene Davis, who won the title for having reported the highest amount of $118.00 in the Men's Day celebration.

"Christ After Party", and "A popular Hero, Sampson" were the subjects of Mr. Bolden and Rev. Peacock's addresses, respectively Both were very uplifting. The music was grand which was rendered by the Men's Chorus, accompanied by Mr. Clarence Perkins and Mr. E. R. Ruffner.

Making the second highest report was Mr. Julius Williams with $100. All other captains made very fine reports. The total amount raised $1,041,07. Rev. W. M. Daniels is pastor.
