ANCHORAGE, Aug. 6-(AP) Representative Ben F. Jensen, Republican of Iowa, was cut on the leg and three other members of the House Sub-Committee on Appropriations were shaken and bruised yesterday when the special three-car train taking them to Seward was derailed one mile from its destination.
Others in the party were Representatives Jed Johnson. Democrat of Oklahoma, Michael J. Kirwan, Democrat of Ohio, Henry Dworshak, Republican of Idaho, William Brophy, Commissioner of Indian Affairs, Robert Coote, General Land Office, Don Foster, Supt. Alaskan Native Services, William Duvall, committee secretary and Col. O. F. Ohlson, General Manager of the Alaska Railroad.
Representative John J. Rooney, Democrat of New York was not aboard. He had remained in Anchorage.
