On the 6th instant the annual election for GOVERNOR, LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR, and SENATORS, was held in MASSACHUSETTS. For governor the republican Candidate is ELBRIDGE GERRY, and the federal candidate CALEB STRONG.

For Lieutenant-Governor, the republican candidate is WILLIAM HEATH, and the federal candidate SAMUEL PHILLIPS.

We have collected all the information derived from the Massachusetts papers from which we are enabled to give the following statement, being the votes of 20 towns. Massachusetts contains few more than 400 towns.
