$250,000 Federal
Building Practically
Assured City of Fargo

That an appropriation of $250,000 for the construction of a new federal building in Fargo, is practically assured, is the word that comes from Washington.

A special press dispatch from Washington, explaining the provisions of the federal building bill, as unanimously reported from the committees, states that the measure carries a quarter million dollars for this city, the same to be expended on a building to be erected on a site already owned by the government, at the corner of Ninth street and Second avenue north.

A telegram to The Forum today from Washington states that it is generally believed that the bill will become law, as it is backed by the unanimous report of the committee.

Until such time as the bill is finally passed, the exact time that the money will become available for the work in this city, is uncertain.

The same bill carries a $35,000 appropriation for an increase in the cost of the Jamestown college.
