HURRAH FOR THE OLD KEYSTONE.—The gratifying news goes booming over the country that Pennsylvania sends to the United States Senate, a Republican Senator, in place of that arrant doughface, Mr. Bigler. Mr. Buchanan demanded the election of his trusty advocate, Forney, of the Pennsylvania. He secured the caucus nomination, in accordance with this behest, but the Legislature refused to confirm the edict; and elected Hon. Simon Cameron, Republican, on the first ballot; the vote standing Cameron 67, Forney 58, Foster 7.

This result is a perfect bomb shell in the camp of Mr. Buchanan, and made an awful rattling among the dry-bones at Washington.

Mr. Cameron supported Col. Fremont with great earnestness and ability, during the late campaign.
