Mrs. J. W. Smith, No. 248 North East street, sends a card to the Journal to the effect that for twelve years her lungs have been badly affected, and that six years ago she began having hemorrhages. She became so much reduced that she expected death. In April last she saw an account of a lady having been healed by faith, and sending for her had a talk with her. The result was that Mrs. Smith was "anointed" and prayed for, and she now testifies that Christ has healed her. She has shrunk from making the fact public before, but now feels compelled to let the world know.
