Red Cross Meeting at Big Lake.

There was another loyalty and Red Cross meeting at Big Lake on Sunday afternoon which was largely attended. The exercises were interesting. County Attorney Tyler presided and made a rattling good speech in which he took occasion to say nice things of Governor Burnquist. Mr. W. B. Anderson of Minneapolis was the orator for the occasion and delivered a sensible and highly patriotic address. Co. C of the 12th Bat. Minn. Home Guards gave an exhibition drill on the base ball grounds and went through the evolutions like regulars. A neat sum was realized for the Red Cross.
