Reveres, jabots and scarfs mark the new suits and coats and may be worn bundled up closely around the neck or thrown back for indoors.

Skirts show a tendency toward straighter, plainer lines. Armholes, necklines, sleeves and wrist trimmings are novel and interesting. Printed silks are giving way to crepes with metal design woven into them.

Gloves are worn more than ever. The idea seems to be not to expose any of the arm or hand. The gloves meet the sleeve half way or wherever it chooses to stop. Gloves will even be worn over long sleeves, covering them to the elbow.

Laces, that sweet finery of our grandmothers, is with us stronger than ever. It gives a dainty feminity to garments which nothing else can achieve.
