LEGION DRIVE HAS BIG START

The drive for membership in the American Legion post 31, Boulder City, that has been in progress for several days, is advancing favorably, according to Commander R. F. Skinner. Steve Bechtel joined last Saturday by sending in his application from San Francisco.

Pete Hansen, who is in charge of the graveyard shift at the upper end of the river; C. M. Funston, engineer; Roy Mainville, government paving engineer; and C. M. Russell, carpenter foreman at the gravel plant, are among the latest members to join. In the future, any ex-service men who wish to sign for membership, may do so by leaving their dues with any of the committeemen.
