Hearst Divorce Caused By Plane

LOS ANGELES, June 11. (U.P.)—A dispute over the manner of piloting an airplane led her husband to leave her, Blanche Wilbur Hearst testified here today as she was granted a divorce from George Randolph Hearst, newspaper publisher and son of William Randolph Hearst.

He deserted her, she claimed, after a dispute they had when he landed his airplane at night and without lights at the San Simeon ranch of the elder Hearst.

She was a passenger in the plane at the time.

"He knew I objected to the great danger of such landings," she told Superior Judge Emmet Wilson. "It was not the first time we disputed the matter. The day after this argument at the ranch he went to Burlingame, where we lived, took his clothing and departed."
