Meet The Teachers

"I certainly miss the mountains" stated Miss Ray, one of the new teachers at Hardin high school.

Miss Ray came to Hardin from Missoula, Mont., and she likes Hardin very much. She teaches eighth grade and freshman general science and algebra.

Miss Ray is about five feet six inches tall, and has brownish hair and blue eyes. She is very interested in flying, and although she can't fly a plane herself, she never misses an opportunity to go up. She came from Missoula to Hardin in a plane the other day.

Swimming and horseback riding occupy part of her leisure time during the summer months and she has four years of high school baseball to her credit.

She has no favorites in the line of songs, movies, or food. She likes anything to eat as long as it comes in quantities, but this fact certainly doesn't show on her figure.

"The students are O.K., except for a few bad ones," says R. P. Rimel, a new teacher, who began teaching this season in Hardin high school. His home town is Missoula, where he graduated from the university of Montana, and later taught for five years in other schools.

Mr. Rimel is our assistant coach and along with that he teaches social science 7, American history, sociology, and economics. In connection with history, Mr. Rimel states that it was a sad mistake for Germany to declare war on the United States.

His favorite sports are football, basketball, track, boxing and wrestling, and he is now coaching Hardin's B squad in many fast cage games.

He is an energetic person for he likes hunting, and would much rather go dancing than to the movies.
