Full Text

From the time Lord George Gordon was conveyed to the Tower till Thursday evening, a serjeant's guard of horse was constantly stationed at his door. On Thursday evening his Lordship's servants were taken up, and carried before Lord Hillsborough for examination. Since that time the guard has been removed from Welbeck Street.

A correspondent is happy to find the publick opinion discharge itself hourly of prejudice, insomuch, that the noble Lord under confinement is now likely to have a fair hearing, void of general prepossession—individuals are now much cooler, and do not wish for an execution without Judge or Jury.
