QUESTION: Is it right for youth groups to discuss in their meetings such subjects as Christian attitudes toward sex? -J.M.B.
WE SHOULD ALSO BEAR IN MIND THAT SEX IS JUST ONE OF THE CREATIVE FORCES GOD HAS GIVEN MAN AND THAT WE SHOULD NOT BE PREOCCUPIED WITH IT, OUR LIVES WOULD BE MUCH MORE BALANCED and FULLER IF WE WOULD GIVE MORE ATTENTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR MINDS AND THE HEALTH OF OUR SOULS, AND LESS TO THE GRATIFICATION OF APPETITE.
ANSWER: I think it is time someone is discussing sex besides the books and magazines which have perverted it and distorted it in the minds of many people.
The purveyors of filthy sex literature probably do more to undermine character, destroy ideals and ruin homes than any other group of people I know of.
The Bible has a lot to say about sex. It points out that the wrong use of it has sent great and good men to the scrap heap. But it also recognizes that the proper use of sex (within the framework of marriage) can be a force for great good and ultimate human happiness. Homes that are not built upon a sound view of sex can be unhappy.

You will have to work out your problems with the Christian Scientists down there.
