POLICE COURT. - The following business was transacted in the Police Court yesterday: Mollie West, disturbing the peace, was dismissed for want of prosecution. May Baby was tried upon the charge of petit larceny - extracting $20 from a man's purse while he slept in the same quarters - found not guilty and discharged. The case of petit larceny against Madame Blanch was dismissed upon statement and motion of the prosecuting attorney, the case being similar to one last tried. Wah Sing, embezzlement, case dismissed, being outlawed. James Minor, case of battery, dismissed. W. Lovejoy, disturbing the peace, $5 deposit forfeited. John Revis, battery, case dismissed. The case of George Harnett, for disturbing the peace, and two cases against Johanna Hopper, same charge, were continued to 16th instant. The case of Martin Ryan, for mayhem, was continued till the 18th instant. The case of George M. Farr, for vagrancy, was called, and after examining a list of thirty-five, called as jurors, a panel of twelve was obtained and the case tried.
