Full Text

The colored people in some of the more western counties are forming themselves into clubs in dead opposition to Radicalism. They are becoming tired of the cajolery of their pretended friends and would-be masters; They see through it all now, and have slipped the traces. A few days since they held a meeting in Rutherford county, which was addressed by orators of their own color. The Radical leaders were denounced, and the colored men were urged to stand shoulder to shoulder with the whites in a grand effort to regenerate the State. Speed the cause.--Salem (N. C.) Press.
