Full Text

Judge Charles F. Holland, who died in Philadelphia and who left a big estate, died without a will and his estate will be divided in equal parts between his three sisters. Judge Holland had made several wills and had a will shortly before his death in which he had made a distribution of his large estate, but after his death this will could not be found. A new will however, which was written a few days before he left for Philadelphia was found on his desk, but it was unsigned and unwitnessed and cannot, therefore, be considered a will.

Judge Holland has left an estate amounting to between $60,000 and $75,000. His estate was for the most part invested in stocks, bonds, mortgages and other substantial investments, many of which would bring very much more than par if placed under the hammer. The Judge was a very large holder of Building and Loan stock in all the principal towns on the Peninsula and held quite a large sum in mortgages.

Mr. Samuel R. Douglass will administer on the estate.
