Full Text
The Indiana regiments in the army of the Cumberland, held a meeting, January 16th, to consider the course of the Indiana Legislature and Butternuts in general. Colonel Gorman, a life long Democrat, presided. Resolutions were passed denouncing the Copperheads of that State for their traitorous course in opposing the war, and also endorsing the proclamation and the acts of the Administration generally. The resolution denouncing the Indiana traitors was very severe.
Precious little comfort the Vallandighamers will get from the army.
