Canterbury, July 28.
On Wednesday night Charles Weston, Esq; and his Lady and Child, returning home in his chaise to their seat at Preston, near Brighthelmstone, stopt to water his Horses, about half a mile from his house; as he was taking the bitts from their mouth, they took fright and run away. Mr. Weston endeavour to stop them was killed on the spot; Mrs. Weston tossed the child out of the chaise, and afterwards jumped out, but fortunately neither of them received any hurt.
* Mrs. Weston is Daughter to William Bollan, Esq; formerly of Boston, and by Letters we hear that this Lady when she found her Husband was dead, immediately fell into Convulsions, and remained deprived of Senses when the last Vessel left London.
