French Gulch.-We have received a long letter from some unknown friend, speaking in glowing terms of the prosperous condition of the French Gulch Diggings. The claims on Maine street, near Squire Harvey's, have been yielding most abundantly, and a company of three Frenchmen had taken six hundred dollars from another claim two days previous. The miners generally were making from $8 to $16 per day.

"Dublin Tricks" is respectfully informed that we never publish communications without the proper name of the author. Send us your name next time, and write shorter letters. Remember the Courier is a little paper.
