Delicate Operation Performed

John McDouglas, a young man of this city, underwent a serious operation at the local hospital Tuesday for appendicitis. A year and a half ago an incision had been made at Spokane for the same trouble and the affected part drained. but complications had developed from this first operation. Dr. I. U. Temple performed the surgical treatment Tuesday and found the case a very severe one. The operation proved very successful and the young man is much improved today. Dr. Temple was assisted by Dr. McFaul, while the anesthetic was administered by Dr. Henderson.
