BATTERY "F", 14TH F.A. TO CELEBRATE ORGANIZATION DAY

Battery "F" 14th F.A. will celebrate its Organization Day next Friday, December 14th.

The Battery was redesignated from Btry. "F" of the 18th F.A. on December 1st; which was its initial Organization Day.

However, due to its reorganization the celebration was delayed. The day will be started off with an athletic program from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. A competitive mounted drill will be held between members of the organization from 10:30 to 10:45 A.M. and a prize of $5.00 will be awarded to the soldier with the outstanding mount and equipment. A big chicken dinner will feature the noon hour. A basketball game with the freshman team from St. Thomas College will be played in the afternoon, the game will start at 3:00 P.M. A Beer and Dutch Supper will start off the evening which will wind up with a dance at the Service Club. Captain Maraist is the Battery Commander, other officers are Capt. Day, Lt. Wesner and Lt. Harris. Sgt. Nelson is Top-Kick.
