The different orders of Masons present moved in procession from their Hall, at about 12 o'clock, and proceeded to the Church, where service was opened by appropriate music; service at the altar was performed by the Reverend Mr. Blake, after which, a learned, appropriate and truly masonic discourse was delivered by the Reverend and Excellent Companion, Barnabas Bates, Grand Chaplain of the State. The Grand High Priest then proceeded and installed the Officers and Members of the Pawtucket Royal Arch Chapter, and they were proclaimed, by the Grand Marshal, a regularly constituted Chapter, in the presence of a numerous audience. They then proceeded to the Hotel of Colonel Nelson, where they partook of a sumptuous dinner, and returned to their Hall, where they closed the important services of the day, from which they took leave of each other in harmony and brotherly love. The occasion was interesting, and that order prevailed throughout, which is the conspicuous characteristic of Masonry, and reflected great honour on the fraternity.
