Full Text

Doctor O'Leary's letter to the Whiteboys, is on all hands allowed to be a powerful and nervous production on the occasion. It contains those convincing arguments, that forcible reasoning, that strength of style, and generous current of humanity, which makes the man of genius, and the candid pastor. If the rest of the clergy were half so earnest in forwarding the cause of peace and good order, the established church would have little cause to complain, and the Roman Catholic priesthood find a better establishment.
