NORWICH, August 4.

Last week, a child of Mr. John Waterman, of this city died: his death was occasioned by sucking some of the blows of the reed commonly called stinking weed, which is suffered to grow in the publick streets, and which has proved fatal to a number of children in this town and its vicinity. This is mentioned as a friendly caution to parents, hoping they will think proper not to suffer such a baneful weed to grow near their houses, or in the public roads, by which the lives of their children are hourly exposed.
