Difficulty at Camp Wallace. It was reported at Columbus last evening that a serious difficulty was going on at Camp Wallace, three miles this side of Columbus, where a lot of paroled prisoners are quartered. A bright light as of a fire was seen in that direction last night by people in Columbus. The report was brought to Columbus by some soldiers from Camp Wallace, but how reliable it was our informant did not know. They said the soldiers were fighting among themselves and a terrible row was going on.
