Extract of a Letter from Philadelphia, dated June 23.

By an Express just now from Fort Pitt, we learn, that the Indians are continually about that Place; that out of 120 Traders, but two escaped; that Fort Detroit was attacked three or four Days, but the enemy was beat off. St. Dusky, was taken with much Goods, and all the People killed, several other small Forts are taken; and it is said about 60 Men escorting Provisions from Niagara to Detroit were also cut off, and several Houses burnt, so that now it is out of all Doubt, it is a general Insurrection among all the Indians.
