Capt. Matthieu, of the fast sailing ship Dido, in 38 days from Havre, has favored us with Paris papers to the 8th March.-- The report of the dissolution of the Chamber of Deputies, and suspension of the Peers House, is not correct-- both Chambers were in session on the 6th.
By two Royal Decrees of the 4th and 5th upwards of eighty new members were added to the chamber of peers, to strengthen the Court party.
Prices at Havre, March 8-- Sales.
Hyson 4f. 50 in deposit-- Georgia Cotton 1 92 duties paid-- Louisiana do 2 21 do.-- Brown sugar, 4 50 in deposit.
Coffee, Bourbon 1 90 a 1 82!-- Martinique 2 35 a 2 40-- St. Domingo 180 a 185-- Indigo 12 5 a 13, duties paid.
