A Vote of Confidence

MR. E. J. RUSING, president of the Miners and Merchants Bank, was recently elected president of the Pacific Northwest Trade Association. This places a well known and active Alaskan civic leader at the head of an important organization which not only includes the Northwestern States, but British Columbia as well.

Although Mr. Rusing is not as well known here as he is in Fairbanks, where he is vice president of the Alaska National Bank, his outstanding work toward the development of the Fairbanks area has not gone unnoticed, and those who have worked with him have every confidence that under his leadership Alaska has much to gain, as well as do the other States and Canadian regions.
