In High School Auditorium.
Bluefield, W. Va., Has Entries.
All is in readiness for the annual Princess Pageant to be held in the High School auditorium Saturday, May 1st, when "Miss Tazewell County" will be selected. Tazewell county's most beautiful young ladies will take part in the contest and the winner will represent Tazewell in the annual Dogwood Festival in Bristol on May 6th and 7th. A motion picture of last year's festival will be shown on the night of the pageant and between acts a splendid program of dancing and music is to be given.
During the march of the Beauties, those who attend the show will get a glimpse of Tazewell county's fairest of the fair, for it is said we have the prettiest girls in the land. The price of admission is 25c and 15c.
Proceeds from the show will be used to help defray the expenses of the Bristol event.
Girls have been entered by the business firms of Richlands, Tazewell, Bluefield, Va., and Bluefield, W. Va. The sponsors of this contest extend to the firms of the county and also to Bluefield, W. Va., business houses for the thirty-five entries, their sincere appreciation for their splendid cooperation in making this pageant a success.
