Full Text

A good many of the Pickens people attended the show at Greenville last week and pronounced it good. They found it orderly, moral and near about as represented. The dispensary was closed on that day and there was no drinking or rowdyism of any kind, although there were probably 10,000 people on the streets of the city, and everybody went home happy. This same report has gone forth from other towns where Sells Brothers showed, and it is all on account of the dispensary system and the level-headedness of Governor Evans, who ordered the dispensaries closed on those days.
