Coolidge, Accompanied by Wife, Goes to American Legion Convention.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 5.—President Coolidge and Mrs. Coolidge left on their twentieth wedding anniversary for Omaha where the President will address the annual convention of the American Legion tomorrow.

CONVENTION OPENS
OMAHA, Oct. 5.—The Seventh Annual Convention of the American Legion opened this forenoon after an all-night celebration welcoming new arrivals on special trains. Impromptu parades were held, led by bands and drum corps. National Commander Drain presided when the convention opened this forenoon.
