They are going to have an entertainment in the Browns' district Feb. 24, '94.
Mrs. E. Jordan went to Rose Creek Saturday. She has not returned at this writing.
The teachers and the scholars are busily engaged in preparing themselves for the entertainment.
Miss Sadie Culton went to LeRoy to attend the lecture Friday evening. Also to take in the teachers' convention Saturday.
H. H. Meier arrived Monday from Berlin, Germany. He reports a very hard journey, as the ship in which he came sprung a leak, and had to be brought back for repair.
John R. Jordan meets every train to see if he can't catch on. We would advise you John to brace up and you won't have to go to the train, as we have enough right here.
A party of young people started off for a ramble Thursday night. The weather wasn't very pleasant, nevertheless they reported a big time at the dance, which they were about to attend.
W. A. Gesell and John R. Jordan got their foot in it, as the people thought they were the correspondents of the TRANSCRIPT. But will say that you need not think so, as I know what I am.
W. A. Gesell drives the team that is training down east every day, and believe that he has some attraction down there. But will say that it is perfectly necessary for you to go down there "Billy" and I don't believe you are in it.
The dance at R. Connors', of Tuesday of last week, was well attended. Some of our boys and girls, especially one whom we shall call "Sugar Toe," thought he was right in it with a young lady known as Miss Ella R. Don't you ever believe it. I'm afraid you are too late.
