Letter From Memphis—The Disaster AT Guntown.—We are permitted to take the following extract from a letter received by Mr. Tuther of this city, from his son Alf. G. Tuther, A. A. G. at Memphis, in which he gives some particulars of the disaster to Sturgis' command, by which so many Columbus soldiers were killed, wounded and captured:

Headquarters District of Memphis.
MEMPHIS, TENN., June 13th, 1864.

In an engagement with the rebels at Guntown, Miss., on Friday last, June 10th, the 95th Ohio regiment, which composed part of the expedition under Brigadier General Sturgis, suffered severely. The casualties, so far as I have been able to learn, are as follows:

Co. A, Lieutenant Oscar D. Kelton, killed; Co. B, Captain R. M. Hanson, killed; Co. C, Captain Wells Allis, killed; Co. C, George H. Rollins, wounded; Co. C, John H. McNeil, wounded; Co. C, William H. Flack, wounded; Co. D, C. Starr, wounded; Co. E, L. G. Brown, wounded; Co. E, Harvey Stump, wounded; Co. E, John Carrord, killed; Co. G, W. Jackson, wounded; Co. G, H. Pyle, wounded; Co. H, M. H. Horlocker, wounded; Co. H, Thomas Moon, killed; Co. H, George W. Mock, killed; Co. H, H. Smith, wounded; Co. I, H. Biggs, wounded; Co. I, J. Grovenburg, wounded; Co. K, Lieutenant Joe B. Vance, badly wounded, and supposed to be dead.

The above is as complete a list as I could get. The officers that I know are safe are as follows:

Col. W. L. McMillen, commanding infantry division, Lieutenant D. M. Hayden, Lieutenant J. Barber, Lieutenant J. A. Thrapp, Lieutenant Colwell, Lieutenant Phelps, Captain J. S. Tate and Captain Pennington.

The balance of the officers of the 95th are supposed to be captured and in the hands of the rebels. There are about one hundred of the men returned. The rest are supposed to be captured. Every officer and man engaged fought bravely.
