LATEST FROM ENGLAND.

Mr. Gilbert of the coffee-house, yesterday received from Mr. Wood, of Wiscasset, a Liverpool paper of the 27th of May. Its Portuguese news is of the same date of ours from Lisbon. Rejoicings had taken place on lord Wellington's triumph in Portugal. The news from the North continued extremely contradictory and trifling. We find very little in the English papers on American affairs, and that little acrimonious. The Prince Regent was extremely popular; and nothing was hinted of the old king's ever resuming the regal reins. Six eagles, captured from the French, has been deposited in St. James' chapel with great pomp. The John Adams, capt. Dent, arrived at Cowes, the 23d May, from L'Orient, with despatches.

The English official account of a naval success in the Adriatic have been published.

The nominal King Joseph has arrived in Paris from Spain. Marshal Ney was likewise there.
