Grahame Seeks Partner To Face Blassies
Jerry Grahame will have as a teammate of his own selection when he opposes Bill and Fred Blassie in a feature Australian tag-team match Friday night at the city auditorium.
Grahame inked a contract with Promoter Paul Jones to meet the Blassie provided he could pick his own team partner. So far Grahame has not made known his choice but has announced his pick will be the most rugged selection available.
Grahame after securing a partner, will try to "mop up the ring with the Blassie Brothers who think they're high and mighty."
The match is set for one-fall with a sixty-minute time limit.
There will be an all-star supporting card with clever Roger Mackay making his second appearance against giant Frank Taylor.
Mackay made his debut here last week and was nothing short of sensational. There will be a 20-minute time limit on the affair.
Whitey Whittler comes to grips with newcomer Jackie Nichols who is making a bid for Southern recognition. Nichols is said to be one of the finest young athletes in the game today.
