Full Text

WILMINGTON, May 8.

Gregori, the Spanish pirate, is not yet taken; he has lately captured several vessels, and treated the crews with great inhumanity: His force consists of five schooners, well armed, three of which were taken off the Bahamas, and were the property of the inhabitants of those islands. The Governor of the Havannah sent a frigate in pursuit of him, which has returned without success. A vessel fitted out at Jamaica, and another from the Havannah, are now in pursuit of, and it is hoped will fall in with him, and put a stop to his depredations.
