Trooper Walden has been a member of the Highway Patrol since 1949 and worked in Dade and Broward Counties for 1 1/2 years as Driver's License examiner. He was then transferred to Monroe County and was stationed in Tavernier for over three years as a trooper.
His next assignment was in Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, where he patrolled the highways for two years.
