TOPEKA'S SHARE.

Nearly All Other Towns in the State Have Contributed to 20th Regiment's Band.

A telegram was received by the Journal today from Col. E. C. Little of the Twentieth regiment, saying that the band of the regiment still needs $450 to complete its equipment.

Col. Little asks Topeka to help raise the required funds.

The only company that went from Topeka is with this regiment. This telegram should meet an immediate response from Topeka people who are justly proud of their offering to the Philippine army.

The Commercial club should see that Topeka's quota, $150 is raised and telegraphed at once.
