Bill Attaching Washabaugh County to Jackson for Judicial Purposes Now in the Senate.

A telephone from Pierre, to the Press on last Saturday gave us the pleasing information that the bill to attach Washabaugh county to Jackson for judicial purposes has passed the House of Representatives and at this time is up for action in the senate.

If the bill passes both of the Houses it will be good news to the many citizens of our adjoining county and an accommodation to them for which they have long been looking for. The tax payers of Washabaugh county have certainly been put to a great inconvenience in being forced to travel a distance of nearly 200 miles to transact their business and it is hoped that the members of the Senate, as did the House, will take into consideration this hardship which is now resting upon the citizens of Washabaugh county, and pass the bill without an amendment, and in this way assist in relieving a bad condition of affairs.
